Buskers Needed for Whitehouse Event

busk•er noun \ˈbəs-kər\ Definition of BUSKER: chiefly British : a person who
entertains in a public place for donations.

The Whitehouse Arts Advisory Board (WAAB) is hosting the Annual BuskerFest on Saturday afternoon, September 9, 2017. We are looking for performers to participate from 4 – 6 pm. All forms of family entertainment are welcome: musicians, magicians, dancers, mimes, face painters, sketch artists, puppeteers, balloon artists, jugglers, etc. Several dozen performers have participated at the past and both the performers and audience were amazed at the quality and variety offered by local entertainers.

As an added bonus this year, the Grape Smugglers will perform in the Park Pavilion immediately following the BuskerFest from 6 – 9 pm. There will also be food, beer, and wine available for purchase so that spectators can enjoy the evening while listening to the music.

Application forms:    BuskerFest Application 2017     If you have questions, please email bknisely@whitehouseoh.gov or call 419-877-5383.
