Community Development Coordinator

Barbara Knisely was promoted to Community Development Coordinator in July of 2010, after serving as the Building and Zoning Clerk.  The Community Development Coordinator’s primary function is to work with the community to seek improved quality of life opportunities.  This position was created after the 2009 Resident Survey showed that residents want more community events in the Village.  Ms. Knisely’s duties include planning and scheduling events, working with various organizations and Council Members to provide entertainment and fun educational opportunities for residents, both young and old.

Volunteers are always needed to help facilitate community events.  Areas of volunteerism include musicians, gardeners, construction, general help, and any other areas of expertise residents might have.  If you are interested, please call Village Hall at 419-877-5383 to sign up.

Barb lives in Maumee and has two adult children and two grandchildren.  Her son, Tova, and his wife, Mandi, live in Fostoria with their two children, Kane and Liliana, and her daughter, Kirby, lives in Bowling Green.
