Local artist, Glen Freimark, is currently exhibiting 13 of his paintings at the Whitehouse Village Hall. He works mostly in watercolor and likes the freshness and spontaneity.
Glen was born and raised on a farm in rural Graytown, Ohio, and he tends to gravitate to landscape subjects. Glen says, “It’s not easy to get the farm boy out of me.”
He attended Bowling Green State University on a football scholarship while pursuing his degree in Business Administration with a major in advertising. After receiving his degree, he joined the former DeVilbiss Company where he held several marketing positions, the most recent as Advertising Manager. Later, he worked in the printing industry until his retirement.
Glen currently resides in Monclova Township with his wife of 61 years, Marna. They are the parents of three grown children, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
The paintings will be on display until April 3, 3017, during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. Watch for additional displays throughout the year!
