Dear Members and Friends of the Whitehouse Historical Society:
We invite you to our ANNUAL DINNER on Saturday October 22, 2016 at 5:00 PM. We will meet at the Log House for appetizers and drinks by a warm fire. Bud Bauman will have his 1958 M274 Jeep Mechanical Mule outside. It is a remarkable vehicle made in Toledo and was the highlight of the Jeep celebration this summer. If we are lucky we might even offer rides!
We will drive or walk to Village Hall for dinner, which will be served at 6:30. Dinner will be provided by Whitehouse’s Local Thyme restaurant and will feature a delicious buffet (specially roasted chicken, pasta Alfredo, potato, vegetable and salad).
A business meeting will follow dinner. We will have election of officers for 2017 – 18, along with other business items. In addition, Louann Artiaga will show us a3D display of the proposed Veterans Memorial Park and Kathy Dollman will share items generously donated by Gale Longenecker. If we have time, we will hear one or two “I Hear Tell” stories, accounts of happenings in Whitehouse from the recent and far away past.
Remember NOW IS THE TIME TO RENEW OR START YOUR MEMBERSHIP TO THE WHITEHOUSE HISTORICAL SOCIETY! We hope everyone who receives this will join and get a friend to join too.
Annual membership costs: $15.00 per single membership, $20.00 per family membership, $50.00 per business membership, and $200.00 per single life membership
Business members can provide business cards to be displayed during our open houses.
