Live in Whitehouse
The
Village of Whitehouse is located in the southeastern portion of Lucas County and
is bordered by Waterville Township to the north, east, and south and Providence
and Swanton Townships to the west. The US Census Bureau recently released
the results of the 2010 census, showing the Village of Whitehouse with a
population of 4,149. The majority of the land use within the Village of
Whitehouse is residential (low-medium density) with a small concentration of
commercial and industrial uses.
Local Man writes Song About Whitehouse.
Brad Burkhart, a local Whitehouse man, recently wrote a song as a
special musical tribute to the Village of Whitehouse. Mr. Burkhart
who lives in the Village with his wife and son, has been a dedicated
Village employee for 10 years, and is a member of several bands who play
at various locations in northwest Ohio.
“My Hometown of Whitehouse” was performed at the Annual Founders’ Day
Event on July 5, 2012. Mt. Fuji & the Eruptions entertained the
crowd and Brad performed his song for the first time.
