The Village of Whitehouse invites you to the SGT Andy Eckert Memorial Bridge Dedication Ceremony.

On May 8, 2005, SGT Andy Eckert was killed while serving his country in Iraq. Twenty years later, on May 8, 2025, we will gather together to honor his service, sacrifice and his legacy as we proudly dedicate the new Whitehouse pedestrian bridge in his memory. The bridge is located on the bike path between Cemetery Rd and Finzel Rd.

Please join us on Thursday, May 8, at 6:30 PM for the dedication ceremony which will have an estimated run time of a half hour. Seating will be limited, but all are welcome to attend. Primary parking will be available at 10100 Waterville St, with additional parking along Cemetery Rd, which will be closed during the ceremony with traffic flow reserved for local residents and event parking.
