We had the pleasure of chatting with Officer Christine Fouty of the Whitehouse Police Department!
Give us a quick introduction. When did you start working for Whitehouse and what does your job entail?
This is my 3rd year at the Whitehouse Police Department. I was hired on August 13th, 2018, with the one and only Deputy Chief Baer. I am currently carrying child number three and on light duty. Light duty consists of investigation follow-ups, walk-in reports, coordinating events, finger printing, assisting in field training with newer officers, and any/all duties assigned to me.
Where might we see you around the Village?
I will be in the office at the local police department until my return date this winter. I look forward to going back on the road.
Do you have any family members or pets?
My other half, Brandon, who is the most amazing father to our children, Hazel and Bretten, share a love for our animals. Saddie, our German Shepard is spoiled with kisses and belly rubs, and our feisty feline, Ava, who consistently demands attention.
What is one of your all-time favorite movies?
I would have to say The Emperor’s New Groove from Disney, but I am all for a good action movie any time of the week.
What about a favorite musical artist/band/genre?
I like all music, depending on the time of day, although NF is one of my tippy tops.
What is something you get to witness within your job that others might not normally get to see or might be unaware of?
Vehicle crashes. A lot of people get a sneak peek as they drive by but being on scene is different.
Favorite location/spot in the Whitehouse area?
I love walking in the downtown Whitehouse area. Maintenance does a wonderful job with making our community look beautiful.
Tell us about a unique or surprise talent you possess.
I can lip sync. I cannot sing very well, but I can pretend.
You can take a trip anywhere in the world – where do you go?
I have always wanted to go to Paris, France to see the Eiffel Tower and tour the area.
Favorite season/time of the year?
Summertime all the way. I love swimming, kayaking, the warmth, the 9 p.m. breeze, and the summertime storms.
Can you leave us with a fun fact or a piece of advice?
A piece of advice: It is never too late to start over.
